4.4. Company settings

Your company's settings are available via your admin page; they contain critical information about your company. We recommend consulting your accountant before making changes here.

If you're an inniAccounts Premium client we will manage your company settings for you

 

Company information

The information here is used on all company documents, such as invoices, payslips and dividend vouchers.

Accountant details

You can share your inniAccounts data with your accountant. Enter their details here and select 'create accountant login' - we will email them access details.

Accounts settings

 

  • Your company registration number and VAT registration number are used when creating tax returns and also printed on invoices.
  • The 'next invoice number' is the number that will be applied to the next invoice you create - you may find it useful to change this number if you're migrating from another accounting system.
  • The current financial year and financial year start month should not be changed once your company begins trading.

 

PAYE settings

The settings here are used when creating payslips and calculating PAYE returns. The payroll interval and next payroll date functions are used to control when reminders appear on your company's homepage.
